Happy News during CNY blessings! This couple has been trying for 10 years, after their first baby. Ultimately when they decided to go for fertility screening, they found out both tubes are blocked. Thus, they understood that their most reasonable option is for IVF. And after their first transfer, they finally managed to see that double line! We cant say how long has the tubes been blocked, or which of the reasons causing the blockage but we can say that if the couple would have done the screening earlier, she could have cut short the time to her next pregnancy! A big thank you to those who attended our CNY Open House Event last Monday! Not only it was a CNY celebration but it coincided with ‘Human Day’ ( 人日) which in Chinese mythology believed that humans were created on the 7th lunar day. In a way, since we helped a lot couple to conceive, it also a way to commemorate the creation of life☺️
Again, thanks to patients, the nurses, marketing team, our Metro CEO Mr Bryan, and last but not least vendors who helped in making the event an accomplished one! 😬😬

Sometimes we dont see this perspective..
I have a 39 years old lady who had 2 miscarriages after being married for 5 yrs. She came just for gynecology screening. As i talked to her about her fertility, she mentioned she is tired of trying. And she is worried she will be tired of taking care of a baby at this age.
There are alot of things yes, we feel tired of, but to be tired while working towards your goal or to continue your dream once you have achieved them is a privilege. Because some do not get that privilege to even TRY. So, even if you are tired from trying, do not forget, it is still a blessing you have that hope.
I counseled the patient that she still has chance of conceiving even though lesser than before as aging do impact our fertility chances. Since she is still getting her periods every month, there are eggs in her reserve that are functioning, so there is still a chance. After much discussion, patient has opened up to the idea to start trying again. Well, baby steps first!

Video ini mengingatkan kita yang kadang kadang walaupun penat berusaha ke arah sesuatu atau untuk kekalkan impian kita, sebenarnya ia adalah satu rahmat. Ini kerana ada yang langsung TIADA peluang untuk mencuba.
Kisah benar hari ini apabila berjumpa dengan pesakit berumur 39 tahun dengan sejarah 2 keguguran. Beliau sudah penat mencuba dan tidak ingin lagi untuk mengandung. Beliau juga risau mengandung pada umur ini akan menyebabkan beliau letih menjaga anak. Saya menjelaskan bahawa beliau masih mempunyai peluang untuk mengandung memandangkan setiap bulan haid datang. Selain daripada itu, ramai lagi pasangan yang lebih daripada 40 tahun yang telah berjaya mengandung dan melahirkan anak. Justeru itu, saya meningatkan beliau untuk tidak melepaskan peluang untuk mencuba kerana mencuba itu salah satu rahmat juga.

You know age is catching up with you when your patient comes to you for their 3rd baby😆😆This patient has been with us since 2021( when i started in Metro Puchong) and subsequently in 2023 for her second baby in Metro Cheras. Both IVF were done using Permata Save package. Now, we had just done her embryo transfer and we hope for the best! Thanks for your trust in us for all these years!
