For many Malaysians, Hajj is a once-in-a-lifetime journey 🕋🇲🇾

Preparing for it includes more than travel — it also includes protecting health.

That practical starting point has now grown into broader national implementation, strengthening how health information can be shared securely across borders 🌐

Vaccines protect us at every stage of life from our first days to adulthood. 💉

In 🇲🇾, national immunization programmes have helped eradicate, eliminate or control diseases like polio, measles, rubella and diphtheria - protecting generations of families from disability and death.

However, immunity gaps remain in special groups.

This World Immunization Week, the theme “For every generation, vaccines work” reminds us that immunisation is not a one-time decision. It is a shared family commitment that spans the life cycle—from a child’s first vaccines through adulthood and into older age.

Let’s keep Malaysia protected — together. 🤝
