We’re proud to share that the World Health Organization represented by Headquarters World Health Organization (WHO), World Health Organization Western Pacific Region and CO conducted the first ever in-country training on the use of new risk assessment tools in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Brunei Darussalam.✨

🛠️ These new tools include the Quick Initial Risk Assessment algorithm designed for rapid assessment and the Member State Rapid Risk Assessment tool for deeper analysis.

👥 Nearly 50 participants from across sectors practised real-life scenario-based simulations — including dengue outbreaks, chemical events, gas leaks and vector-borne diseases — marking a major milestone in health emergency preparedness for the Western Pacific Region and beyond. 🌏

🔎 By adopting standardized, evidence-based risk assessment methods, 🇧🇳 is leading the way in strengthening health security and readiness for the future.
