GAPS are truly honoured to have been approached by from Singapore for their Tech4Good project. Through their visits, hands-on sessions and online supports, our teachers and therapists gained valuable skills in creating DIY assistive aids and devices tailored to our students’ unique needs, as well as incorporating switch-adapted toys to help them participate more actively in both learning and daily life.

All of this has opened up more opportunities for our students to engage in social play, communication, and interaction.

We are deeply thankful for the patience, knowledge, and continuous support throughout this project, which has not only equipped our staff with practical skills but also strengthened our mission to provide better, more accessible support for our students 💚

Here’s to creating more possibilities, one small innovation at a time ✨

If the stairs are safe, practise using one hand on the railing and the other supported by a parent. Start by going up first, then practise going down slowly.

Today’s activity with Sofea focused on learning and identifying alphabet letters and their sounds. She showed great understanding, was quick to catch on, and responded confidently. She successfully identified the correct letters when the teacher asked her ✨
