Movement & Our Body"
Let's talk about something we don't discuss enough in wellness spaces. ๐ฟ
Our bodies face a very specific set of challenges:
โ๏ธ Heat and humidity that makes outdoor movement genuinely hard
๐ A carbohydrate-rich food culture that is also one of the most delicious in the world (no shame here!)
๐ Cities built around cars, not walking
๐ป Jobs that demand we sit still for 8โ10 hours a day
๐ด A culture that glorifies busyness over rest
And yet โ we are also a nation with incredible natural assets for movement:
๐ด Rainforest and nature at our doorstep
๐ธ A deep sporting culture (we gave the world Lee Chong Wei and Nicol David!)
๐ A faith tradition that builds movement into daily life through prayer
๐๏ธ A kampung spirit that makes community exercise joyful, not lonely
The problem was never willpower. The problem was never laziness.
The problem is that nobody designed a movement practice around OUR actual lives.
That's what we're doing this May. Movement that fits. Movement that lasts. ๐
