Persekitaran yang selamat dan mesra boleh mengurangkan risiko jatuh serta meningkatkan keyakinan warga demensia untuk bergerak dengan lebih bebas.
✅ Langkah mudah yang boleh dibuat di rumah:
• Pasang susur tangan (handrails) di laluan rumah untuk sokongan ketika berjalan
• Pastikan lampu malam di antara bilik tidur dan bilik air
• Gunakan permaidani melekat / anti-slip untuk elakkan tersadung
• Pilih kasut bertapak getah yang tidak licin dan sesuai dipakai di rumah
🏡 Perubahan kecil ini boleh memberi impak besar kepada keselamatan dan kualiti hidup mereka.

Use creative approach helps them feel more comfortable and calm.

1.Singing a favourite song while inviting the person to the bathroom can help create a fun, relaxed atmosphere. 🎶
Using music she enjoys can distract her and turn bathing into a more positive experience.
2.Offer choices, such as using aromatherapy soap with a scent she likes, making the bath feel like a “spa treatment.
3.Allow partial clothing during bathing, such as wearing a large towel, to help maintain comfort, dignity, and modesty.
✨ Gentle, respectful, and person-centred approaches can reduce resistance and make daily care easier for both the person and the caregiver
