Many women silently struggle with urinary issues—and too often, we dismiss them as “just part of aging” or “something to endure.” But it doesn’t have to be that way.

On September 20, I’ll be joining two other experts for Real Talk on Intimate Health—a safe, open space to discuss the things we often shy away from, but should speak about more.

💡 My topic: Regaining Control – A Woman’s Guide to Urinary Wellness

Whether you're postpartum, perimenopausal, or simply seeking answers, you are not alone.

Safety starts with small habits—habits that protect, nurture, and grow with you.

From sleep routines to feeding moments, how we care postpartum makes all the difference. In this post, I’m sharing 5 habits I often recommend to new mothers—gentle reminders that help keep your baby safe, while also caring for yourself.

Bowling, laughter, and a little friendly competition!

Last August 23, I had the chance to step away from the clinic and onto the lanes at Penang Bowl—and I must say, I had a ball! 😄

It was more than just a fun match. It was a reminder of how important it is to stay active, connect with others, and enjoy moments that bring joy to both body and mind.

We often speak about exercise as something heavy or formal—but sometimes, all it takes is a game with good company to get your heart moving and your spirits lifted.

Let’s all remember: being active doesn’t always mean intense workouts. It can be playful, social, and filled with laughter. That too, is part of caring for your health. 💖

I’ve seen many new mothers walk into my clinic, tired, overwhelmed, in pain, and unsure why they feel so lost.

They love their babies, but they’re running on empty.
The truth is: without rest, recovery, and support, it’s hard to think straight, let alone feel joy.

We need to normalize giving mothers the care they need too.

You don’t owe anyone your timeline.

Taking time to understand your body, your goals, your mental readiness—that’s care. Planning is not delay. It’s alignment.

And no matter what your plan looks like, you deserve support that’s patient and pressure-free.

Too many women are left feeling like they don’t have a say in their own timeline.

That pressure to be “ready” can lead to stress, burnout, or unwanted outcomes. That is why contraception helps you take your time, to heal, to plan, to grow—without fear or pressure.

Knowing your options is powerful. Choosing them is even more so. Choose what feels right for you. I am here to guide you.

You're wondering if you're doing it right. The doubts feel exhausting and at times, isolating.

But breastfeeding isn’t guesswork. It’s a skill that grows with facts, support, and a little compassion.

Let’s move past the rumours and into real, reliable guidance. Because every mother deserves clarity, not confusion.

With honest conversations and the right support, breastfeeding can become what it was meant to be: a moment of love, not worry.
