In 1992, our founder Mr. David Ho received 200 Gaharu seedlings from a Japanese friend and made a lifelong promise to cultivate and protect this precious tree for the benefit of all.
创办人何先生于1992年从一位日本朋友手中接过200棵沉香树苗，并立下誓言：用一生守护沉香，传承这份自然的祝福。

HOGA : Towards Holistic Living Bring your family to visit Gaharu Tea Valley. Spend some time bathing with the aura of 200,000 Gaharu Trees. It's believed that hugging a Gaharu Tree is auspicious and it has good healing properties just by breathing the fresh air in the plantation. Gaharu, Agarwood, Chén-xīang (沉香), Jin-koh (沈香), Chim Hiang (침향) and Oud (عود) are different names of Gaharu in worldwide languages. The Gaharu lifestyle was practiced by Kings and Royal Families since ancient civilizations. Historic records show that Gaharu is high in medicinal properties, used for spiritual purposes, and processed as fragrances. HOGA concept is made realized in 1992 when our founder Mr. David Ho received 200 Gaharu seedlings from a Japanese researcher. Mr. David Ho with his passion, perseverance, and determination made an oath to his Japanese friend to undertake the cultivation and production of the Gaharu trees to benefit the world socially, physically and mentally, in other word - holistically. It is well known that the Gaharu trees produce a highly sought after resin that make Gaharu trees the most precious wood in the world. Gaharu is also called the "Wood of God" and it is a gift to mankind. Gaharu was used by Royal Kingdoms around the world way long before date. It is very important that Gaharu Tea Valley (GTV), Gopeng with the brand name HOGA spearhead the development and protection of this valuable plant for future generations.
