Most if not all has never come across this term called 'metabolic health'.We might know about blood pressure,blood sugar and cholesterol without knowing these group of health indicators actually indicating our metabolic healthy.Nowadays,it is not uncommon to see anyone aged 40 and above being diagnosed with one of metabolic syndromes such high blood pressure,blood sugar & cholestrol,but the reality is the age of diagnosis is getting younger.
What is metabolic health?
Metabolic health is so much more than just conversion of food to energy.metabolic health is defined as having ideal levels of blood sugar, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, blood pressure, and waist circumference, without using medications.
