I've joined AMSC MALAYSIA x PINOKIO 2025 Surgical Zone last week at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

This is the fourth edition of the Aesthetic Medicine, Dermatology and Surgery Conference and Exhibition (AMSC) Malaysia 2025, brings together leading professionals across Asia to explore advancements in Face, Nose & Chest surgery.

The conference aims to position Malaysia as a central hub for cross-border innovation and excellence in aesthetic medicine and surgery.

The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) is the world’s leading professional body for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons, hosted the 2025 ISAPS Olympiad Singapore World Congress from June 18 to 21 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.

This prestigious global event brought together leading aesthetic plastic surgeons to foster cross-cultural collaboration, exchange cutting-edge knowledge, and shape the future of aesthetic medicine.

Dr. Khoo was invited as a presenter and delivered an oral poster presentation about laser therapy for keloid scars, where she shared her extensive clinical experience and advanced treatment methodologies.

国际美容整形外科学会（ISAPS）是全球领先的专业机构，上星期，6月18日至21日在新加坡滨海湾金沙会展中心举办《2025年国际美容整形外科学会奥林匹克世界大会，盛会上美容整形外科医生齐聚一堂，连结文化，分享知识，引领美学未来趋势。

Honour to be invited by the Ministry of Health (KKM), to be LCP Examiner

Firstly, a quick elaboration:
KKM – Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia
LCP – Letter for Credentialing & Privileging

In Malaysia, doctors who wish to provide aesthetic treatments must hold an official certification issued by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, known as the Letter for Credentialing & Privileging (LCP).

Today, I am invited by the Ministry of Health Malaysia to serve as an oral examiner for the LCP certification. There are total of four examiners, Dr. Lee Kok Wai from KKM, Dr. Choo Kok Yew, Dr. Henry Foong and myself. Each examiner takes the role very seriously, as we are responsible to both the aesthetic clients and consumers. Doctors who pass the exam are officially certified by KKM as qualified aesthetic practitioners.

To those who didn’t pass this time—don’t give up! Keep working hard and try again next year.
