Many still see rubber dam placement as a hassle β but once mastered, itβs a total workflow booster.
In this Class II composite restoration for a maxillary first molar, rubber dam isolation wasnβt just about keeping things dry β it gave me crystal-clear visibility and the mental focus I needed to work with precision, minus all distractions.
To restore a proper proximal contact, I used a sectional matrix system, ensuring anatomical contour and tight adaptation. This is essential not just for function and floss feel β but for the long-term periodontal health too.
