This Ramadan, Perak Community Specialist Hospital (PCSH) celebrated the holy month with its annual Bubur Lambuk distribution programme, โSemarak Ramadanโ, sharing 2,000 containers of free bubur lambuk with the public, frontliners and nearby agencies at Balai Bomba & Penyelamat Ipoh.
For the first time, the programme was held in collaboration with the Jabatan Bomba & Penyelamat Malaysia Negeri Perak (JBPM Perak), featuring both lamb and chicken bubur lambuk, lovingly prepared through a gotong-royong effort between PCSH staff and firefighters.
This initiative not only expressed gratitude to our frontliners but also celebrated community spirit, unity, and the joy of sharing during Ramadan. The event was joined by PCSH CEO Nicholas Chan, JBPM Perak Director Datoโ Sayani Saidon, PCSH Board of Visitors members, Datoโ Mohd Odzman Kadir and Mr. Hanson Lau together with Pn. Rozizah binti Abnihajar, Deputy Fire Superintendent Ipoh.
As a community hospital, PCSH continues to serve and support society, including through its Welfare Fund established in 2019 and looks forward to strengthening partnerships that enhance community wellbeing.
A cherished annual tradition, this yearโs collaboration beautifully highlighted the power of healthcare, emergency services and community coming together.
