Influenza cases are increasing dramatically recently, as we can see from the daily news regarding case outbreak in school and childcare centre.

Please practise good hygiene & safety measures for your child and family.

Remember to take your yearly influenza vaccine 💉! Although you might still get the virus after vaccination, BUT...
1. Lessen the severity of symptoms
2. Prevent severe complications eg. lung🫁 infection, brain🧠 & heart🫀 inflammation, or even death☠️!

近期流感疫情爆发，多间学校托管也发出通知，古晋也发生了一宗死亡病例。

要再次提请大家保持良好的卫生习惯，去诊所或人多的地方务必戴口罩😷😷😷。

也记得接种每年一次的流感疫苗💉
虽然接种了疫苗还是有可能会感染病毒，可是！！
1. 减轻流感症状
2. 降低住院率和危险的病发症（如肺炎，心肌炎，脑炎，死亡率）

2025年，《 #当今南特》将聚焦自闭症群体家庭，探讨家长如何在家执行 #家庭康复 计划，以及一系列可行的 #自救策略。五位讲师将从不同专业角度撰写五篇专题文章，并于10月至11月在 #南马特别孩子关怀协会 专页陆续发布。随后，他们将在10月24日起的每个星期五晚上通过 FB Live 与读者进行线上导读与互动交流。

本次专题的重头戏将于11月最后一个星期六(11月29日)实体进行。届时，五位讲师将从各自专业领域深入解析相关议题，数位特殊家庭的家长也将通过分享或工作坊形式，与大众展开更深层次的探讨与交流。我们将于10月24日的第一场【 #当今南特2025】线上导读会上公布以上活动的报名细节。

陪伴自闭症谱系障碍儿童共同生活与成长，是特殊需求家庭的终身旅程。每位孩子的发展都有其独特差异，而每个家庭也面临不同挑战。尤其阶段二与阶段三的孩子，更需要额外的支持。家长们迫切需要准备可行的自救策略，以及有效且适用的家庭康复计划，帮助孩子提升独立能力，更好地融入所处社区。我们期望每一个特殊家庭都能拥有更高的生活品质。

Both our clinics will be open as usual on 15/9/25 but closed on 16/9/25 in conjunction with Malaysia Day. We will resume our services on 17/9/25 as usual.

Honored to be invited to talk about Dengue vaccine.
Dengue fever is highly prevalent throughout the year in our country. It is an infection that most doctors fear, as although most infections are mild or asymptomatic, some can take a turn for the worst in the blink of an eye. When patients manifest the dengue warning signs, the doctors’ hands and blood turn cold too. That’s how bad dengue can be.

Do talk to your doctors and get some information about dengue vaccine and whether you are eligible, especially so if you have gotten dengue before. A secondary dengue (meaning the 2nd/3rd time that you get dengue) can pose a higher risk of disease mortality and morbidity.
