Our Story
PTSN provide professional Occupational Services for children with special needs. We provide individual assessment and intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder， Developmental Coordination Disorder, Neurological Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Learning Difficulty, Physical Impairment， and Developmental Delay. Paediatric Occupational Therapist help children with special needs develop skills in the area of self-care, school and play, which are children's primary occupation. By maximize their potential, we indirectly develop confidence, self-esteem and social skills in children.
At Year 2017, we started first Orton Gillingham English Reading Program for student with Dyslexia in Johor Bahru. Serving at least 30 clients per week with specialise and individual well-planned program.
To provide intensive early intervention for children with special need, we have started Early Intervention Program (EIP) in April 2019. Together with a consultant who is practicing in an EIP centre at Singapore, our team has design a unique EIP program with multidiplinary professional including Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist, which is talor for our culture practicing . Multiple approaches are used including Sturctured Learning, Activity Based Learning, DIR Floortime approach, Handwriting Without Tear, etc. 童心小儿治疗提供特殊儿童专业的职能治疗服务。 我们提供提供以下针对性的个人评估和治疗：自闭症，过动注意力缺乏症，发展协调障碍，神经疾病，感觉统合失调症，学习障碍，身体残疾，和发展迟缓。 小儿职能治疗师帮助特殊儿童发展主要的职业能力，那包括自理，学校表现和玩乐。通过发展孩子的潜能，我们也无形中开发孩子的自信心，自尊心和社交能力。
在2017年，我们创办了首个教导学习缓慢或阅读障碍学生的英文阅读课程(采用Orton Gillingham教学法)。每周至少为30位客户提供专业化和针对个人设计教学的服务。
