I always tell my patients, Rehabilitation is key after a stroke, when medically all is stable. Unlike an infection, you can't take a pill and make the weakness disappear.

But medication is important to help control the risk factors to prevent a second stroke.

Speak Hope...Speak Life!

With a passion to serve those who lost the ability to speak and swallow, Speaklife Speech Therapy came to be in the town of Johor Bahru in 2015.

Specialising in adult speech and swallowing therapy, and aiming to provide quality speech/language and swallowing therapy to those who need it, be it from a stroke, brain injury, head and neck cancer, dementia, Parkinson’s or other neurological diseases, my hope is also to be able to bring hope and speak life into the lives of my patients and their families at a point of time when life has turned itself upside down.

In collaboration with Ms Ooi Bee Leng from Genesis Speech and Swallowing Therapy in Penang, who shares the same passion and vision, we hope to raise awareness in the community and to share information and knowledge in this area of speech therapy.
