【MEDIA STATEMENT】

Re: Media Report Titled “CEO, Top Team Quit Kensington Hospital in 24 Hours”
Published by the New Straits Times on 30 September 2025

We refer to the article published by the New Straits Times on 30 September 2025, which inaccurately reports that the Chief Executive Officer and the “top team” of Kensington Green Specialist Centre Sdn. Bhd. resigned within a 24-hour period.

For the record, only the Chief Executive Officer and his Personal Assistant tendered their resignations on 30 September 2025, both giving 24 hours' notice. No other members of the senior leadership team have resigned, contrary to what was reported.

We are deeply concerned by the factual inaccuracies and the speculative nature of the article, as it creates a misleading impression of instability within the hospital’s leadership. The resignations in question were in breach of the contractual notice period, and appropriate legal remedies are being considered.

Kensington Green Specialist Centre Sdn. Bhd. remains fully operational, with a committed and stable senior management team in place. Our focus continues to be on delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the hospital’s operations proceed without disruption.

We urge responsible and accurate reporting, especially on matters that may affect public confidence in healthcare services.
