Recent reports indicate a rise in tuberculosis (TB) cases across Malaysia. As of February 21, 2026, Johor has recorded 280 TB cases, contributing to the national cumulative total of 3,161 cases this year.

Dr William was a Anglo Chinese School Independent boy and has a bachelor of science from University of Wisconsin (America) and a MBBS from Malaysia. Completed his training in Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru and was an outstanding Medical Officer.He did his training in Paediatrics Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, General Paediatrics and General Neonatal Ward.
