Passing the Torch at Urology UiTM

Although I officially stepped away from UiTM last year, my heart never quite left the wards. I’ve continued to run clinics and surgeries over the past few months, a quiet effort to keep the service steady while waiting for the right moment.

That moment has arrived.

It brings me immense pride to welcome back Mr. Fairuz Shah. Fresh from his FRCS Urol in 2024 and a year-long fellowship in Australia, he has hit the ground running. Watching him step up brings back so many memories of 2022, when we first established ourselves as the youngest urology unit in Malaysia.

What started as a vision is now a thriving reality. With a new trainees applying to join the program, I know the legacy is in safe hands. Alhamdulillah for the journey, and Insya Allah for the bright future ahead.
