But what exactly is OSCE? The Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is a rigorous evaluation process designed to assess the clinical skills and knowledge of our dental team in a real-world setting. This ensures that we consistently provide you, our valued patients, with the highest standard of care.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of Alpha’s dedicated doctors, nurses, patient service officers, and backend staff who contributed their time and expertise to make this OSCE a resounding success. Your hard work and commitment to excellence are what set us apart!

🦷Introducing our Prosthodontist - Dr. Koh Yun Shan🦷
🦷口腔修复专科 - 许韵珊医生🦷

Dr. Koh Yun Shan obtained her Bachelor in Dental Surgery from the University of Malaya (Malaysia) in 2016. She worked for the Ministry of Health and subsequently joined a private practice in Johor Bahru. She pursued full-time advanced prosthodontics specialist training at UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 2020 and completed her Master in Clinical Dentistry with Distinction.

Apart from that, she was on the Dean’s list of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. She succeeded in the UK Specialist Board exam and was granted Membership in Prosthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). She was trained to manage complex prosthodontics cases, which include full mouth rehabilitation, interdisciplinary restorative, aesthetics makeover, implant prosthodontics, occlusal analysis, and comprehensive treatment planning.

🦷Introducing our Orthodontist - Dr. Ng Wee Loon🦷
🦷口腔正畸专科 - 黄伟伦医生🦷

Dr. Ng Wee Loon holds a BDS degree from Penang International Dental College (PIDC), graduating in 2016, and subsequently fulfilled his mandatory service with the Ministry of Health before joining a private dental clinic in Melaka. His academic journey continued with the attainment of the Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh prior to pursuing postgraduate studies.

In 2020, Dr. Ng embarked on a dedicated path to orthodontic specialization, enrolling in a full-time program at King's College London (KLC), a prestigious institution that holds the top rank in the UK. Throughout his postgraduate tenure, he underwent extensive training in orthodontics, honing his skills in managing intricate cases such as hypodontia, impacted canines, and orthognathic surgery. His commitment to excellence culminated in the conferment of an MSc in Orthodontics by KCL and Membership in Orthodontics by RCS England in 2023.

Driven by a profound passion for orthodontics, Dr. Ng remains actively involved in the field. He continues to share cases, tips, and tricks in Orthodontics via his professional Instagram platform (). Besides, he also serves as a mentor to students and guides fellow dentists in navigating the complexities of orthodontic cases.

🦷Introducing our Endodontist - Dr. Teng Peng Hui🦷
🦷显微根管专科 - 邓彬辉医生🦷

Dr. Teng Peng Hui obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery qualification from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2016. He started working under the Ministry of Health and later joined a private clinic as a private practitioner in Johor. In 2019, he embarked on full-time endodontic specialist training at King's College London (KCL) which ranked first in the UK.

During his postgraduate study, he received comprehensive endodontic training. He attained the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCS Edinburgh) in 2021. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Teng was awarded a Distinction in Master of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontology) by KCL in 2022. He then succeeded in the UK Specialist Board examination and received his Membership in Endodontics from the RCS Edinburgh. He is registered with the Malaysian Dental Council as a specialist in endodontics in 2023.

Dr. Teng is also actively involved in scientific research. He had co-authored several papers and book chapters, including a recently published position statement on root resorption by the European Society of Endodontology. Dr. Teng specializes in a wide range of complex endodontic treatments, such as root canal re-treatments, vital pulp therapies, and surgical endodontics. He prioritizes holistic dental care and aspires to always act on patients' best interests.

🦷Introducing our Endodontist - Dr. Ng Ming Chan🦷
🦷显微根管专科 - 吴明珍医生🦷

Dr. Ng Ming Chan obtained her BDS degree from the University of Malaya in 2006. After completing her 3-year government service with the Ministry of Health in Johor, She embarked on her postgraduate studies specializing in Endodontics.

In 2014, she completed her 3-year full-time specialist training at the National University of Singapore and successfully attained the Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

At the same time, Dr. Ng passed the Qualifying Exam (Singapore) in 2011 and obtained full registration to practice dentistry in Singapore in 2014. She was a visiting consultant at Raffles Hospital and National Dental Center in Singapore before practicing full-time in Johor Bahru.

For the past 13 years, Dr. Ng's passion and practice has been solely restricted to Endodontics.
