今年在香港举办的亚太眼科学会大会上，与来自世界各地超过11,000名的眼科医生，一起见证眼科医疗的最新发展。

很荣幸与国际ICL晶体专家交流，也与中国顶尖ICL医生深入探讨手术经验。感恩这次与导师及好友同事们重聚的机会，并且提升自己，为病人带来更优质的治疗与照护。

Truly inspired by the latest advancements in cataract and ICL surgery at the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress, attended by over 11,000 ophthalmologists worldwide.

Honoured to meet Professor Jorge L. Alió (Spain) Director of the "International Specialization Course in Refractive, Cornea and Lens Surgery", a refractive certification I am proud to have completed.

Also privileged to have discussion with Professor Wang Xiaoying, one of China’s leading ICL surgeons, and to learn refined ICL surgical pearls from Professor Yao Peijun. To date, China remains one of the highest-volume countries globally for ICL surgery.

Grateful for the opportunity to upgrade ourselves to provide better care for patients.

When your vision suddenly turns black or white
Without any pain
Without any warning
But it recovers in seconds or minutes

Do not take it lightly
As this could be a warning sign

A warning sign of getting a stroke
Or getting stroke of the eye (CRAO)

Tiny little blood clots float in the blood
To the eye
That’s why the vision is lost for a while
Once the tiny blood clot gets flushed away
Vision returns

Many people ignore it
Because vision returns to normal

But
We need to investigate
Where those tiny blood clots come from
Before a bigger clot gets dislodged to the brain

If you experience it

视觉突然“全部变白或变黑”
几秒至几分钟内恢复正常
一天多次
而且发生在一只眼睛

这可能是
Amaurosis fugax
一过性黑矇
或 短暂性视力丧失

Amaurosis在希腊文是黑暗
Fugax在拉丁文是短暂的意思

成因是微小血栓(blood clot)阻塞眼睛血管
阻塞的时候视觉变黑/变白
几秒后血栓成功被血流冲走
血管疏通没有阻塞
视觉即恢复正常

这些莫名的微小血栓不断出现
一天内造成无数次血管阻塞
又无数次被冲走
患友以为视觉正常了
化险为夷了
就不以为然

这才危险

因为
这是中风和眼睛中风(CRAO)的前兆

注：CRAO - Central retinal artery occlusion, 视网膜中央动脉阻塞

微小血栓可能来自颈项动脉或心脏
有糖尿病，高血压或高胆固醇
或抽烟
一定要检查

因为
当有微小血栓出没
就可能有大血栓的形成
一旦大血栓出现
就会中风
或眼睛中风

这是“中风前警讯”
别抱着侥幸的心理
即使现在视觉恢复正常
也不代表没事

建议立刻就医检查

随着嫁接睫毛的盛行
门诊也自然多了一些出了问题的病人

嫁接睫毛后
有些人容易引发睑缘炎
睑缘 就是眼皮的边缘
也就是平时画眼线的位置

嫁接睫毛后
眼睑清洁变得困难
油脂、皮屑及细菌容易堆积在睫毛根部
也导致蠕形螨 (Demodex) 增生
有些人心疼怕弄坏新睫毛
间接减少清洁
结果发炎更严重

睑缘炎会造成
眼皮痕痒
红肿
干眼
睫毛脱落
睫毛生长方向异常
针眼 (stye)
甚至 睑板腺囊肿 (chalazion)

睑板腺囊肿 (chalazion)
轻者眼药水，抗生素可治愈
否则需要小手术切开排脓

也有些病人
则是在嫁接过程被胶水伤到眼睛
造成眼睛不适，红肿，疼痛

爱美是天性
大多数做了都很漂亮
只是小部分出了状况
尤其是在家自己DIY的

若眼睛症状反复
记得咨询眼科医生

Eyelash extensions make eyelid cleaning difficult.

There is accumulation of bacteria,
crusting or flakes
around the base of eyelashes

This also increases the risk of
Demodex mite overgrowth
and makes eyelid itchy and red

All these lead to inflammation of the eyelid
which is called
Blepharitis

As a result, patients get:
- dry eye
- eyelashes falling out
- eyelashes growing in the wrong direction
- stye
- chalazion

Other than that,
Lash glue are common allergens
it can cause irritation to the eyes and eyelid

Eyelash extensions are popular
but they are not risk-free
if symptoms persist,
seek professional eye care

如果我们注视红眼症患者的眼睛，会被传染吗？

曾经就有位朋友，家里有三位小孩
小孩A得红眼症，好了，传给小孩B
小孩B好了，结果轮到小孩C
小孩C好了，又轮回小孩A

她很困惑
每天准时给小孩滴眼药水
为什么还是没完没了

自从告诉她这两个步骤
就没有家人再受感染了

红眼症（急性结膜炎 Conjunctivitis）
最常见是病毒(virus)造成

#主要传播途径

第一
患者本身碰触自己的眼睛、眼泪
然后再碰触桌面、门把手
其他人在不知情下碰触这些表面
再揉自己眼睛

第二
触碰患者的眼泪、眼分泌物
接触患者用过的毛巾、枕头、眼药水瓶等
然后再揉自己的眼睛

只要患者眼分泌物或眼泪还明显、眼睛持续红肿
就有可能传染给其他人

#不会通过的传染方式

不会通过目光、对视传播
不会通过空气远距离传播

所以当我们注视红眼症患者的眼睛时
是不会被传染的

#家里有结膜炎患者该怎么办

勤洗手
接触红眼后马上洗手
接触患者后也马上洗手
记得是放肥皂一起洗

家里的表面，或者可能会接触的表面
都用消毒液擦拭

总之
就好像以前我们中了covid一样
一直洗手
一直在表面消毒
这两个步骤
很重要

家有小孩是最头痛的
因为他们喜欢这里动一下，那里摸一下
小孩的玩具，记得每天擦拭消毒液
直到红眼症好了

记得
不揉眼睛
不和红眼症病人共用毛巾、枕头、化妆品、眼药水

患者也应避免揉眼
红眼初期会有很多眼泪、眼屎
纸巾擦了眼泪、眼屎后马上丢掉
然后洗手
千万别去游泳、上学或上班

学校假期将至
结膜炎患者可能会增加
预防胜于治疗

若自己出现眼红、异物感、分泌物增多，要及时就医
