Medical Device Authority (MDA) has approved the Covid-19 Antigen Detection Kit for home tests developed by NewGene Bioengineering as per the picture shown below.

NewGene COVID-19 Antigen Detection Kit passed the evaluation of the Institutes Medical Research (IMR) of the Ministry of Health in Malaysia with the sensitivity result is 96%, and the specificity is 100%.

This product is suitable for the qualitative detection of COVID-19 in saliva (sputum) samples. It provides an aid in the diagnosis of infection with COVID-19.

WHO telah meluluskan penggunaan vaksin Sinovac sebagai vaksin untuk kegunaan kecemasan. Ini bermakna semua vaksin (Pfizer, AstraZeneca & Sinovac) yang digunakan di Malaysia telah mendapat perakuan oleh WHO.

Medical Device Authority (MDA) telah meluluskan Kit Pengesanan Antigen Covid-19 untuk ujian di rumah yang dibuat oleh NewGene Bioengineering.

Dengan menggunakan kit ini, orang ramai dapat menggunakan air liur mereka sendiri (kahak) dan memeriksa hasilnya dalam beberapa minit sahaja. Ini sangat membantu dalam pengesanan awal virus Covid-19.
