Lupus (SLE) is a condition where your body develops antibodies that mount coordinated attack on your organs. While commonly affecting women, this condition is sometimes found among men as well.

Up to half of them will have kidneys damaged in the process and around one in five of such patients needed dialysis in their lifetime.
