This morning, Dr Jolynn Low and Dr Vincent Khor joined the Malaysian Hainanese Lim Clan Association to share valuable insights on preventing and detecting colorectal and prostate cancer early. These two cancers remain among the most common cancers affecting Malaysians, making public awareness and education on early detection critically important. Early detection is especially vital, as the majority of patients are often diagnosed at advanced or stage 4 disease, significantly impacting treatment outcomes.

The session was highly interactive, with participants actively engaging and asking questions. To encourage screening, we also provided F***l Occult Blood Test (FOBT) kits at a discounted rate and demonstrated how to use them easily at home — similar to a COVID-19 self-test.

A big thank you to the association and everyone who attended for making this event a success. Together, we can fight these diseases through knowledge and early detection!
