On 4th October 2025, the Perak Community Wound Care Team held a “Booth Woundcare” exhibition and a community wound care awareness campaign in conjunction with the Karnival Kompleks Pendidikan Islam Darul Muttaqin (KIDAM) in Malim Nawar, Perak.
The team collaborated closely with the Youth Club and the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals (MSWCP), acting as a bridge between the healthcare system and the community — providing a platform for public engagement in health education.
This campaign aimed to raise awareness about proper wound care, reduce the risk of infections and complications, and promote hygiene practices. It also helped to reduce treatment costs, encourage mutual support within the community, and improve quality of life by accelerating the healing process.
We are proud to share that our doctor and Managing Director of Seri Mediclinic Dan Surgeri, Silibin & Seri Mediclinic Kampar, Dr. Hema Seridaran, also participated in and supported this meaningful community event.
