Kalau haid lewat tapi UPT (urine pregnancy test) negatif, ini antara kemungkinan puncanya:
 1. Ovulasi lewat – jadi kandungan hormon hCG belum cukup tinggi untuk dikesan.
 2. Tekanan (stress) – boleh ganggu kitaran hormon.
 3. Masalah tiroid atau hormon – seperti PCOS.
 4. Kurus atau gemuk melampau – berat badan ekstrem boleh ganggu ovulasi.
 5. Pengambilan ubat atau pil hormon – seperti pil perancang.
Apa Patut Buat?
 • Ulang UPT selepas 5-7 hari jika haid masih belum datang.
 • Jumpa doktor jika lewat >2 minggu atau UPT masih negatif.
Pemeriksaan untuk memastikan sebab yang mana yang melewatkan period.
Mungkin melibatkan:
 • Ultrasound pelvis
 • Ujian darah hormon
 • skrining tiroid & PCOS
