BY PERSATUAN PENGANUT DEWA ATHMA ARUL JOTHY MUNEESWARAR

We, the management of Om Sri Athma Arul Jothy Muneeswarar Alayam (Karak Shivan Temple), located at Batu 19, Jalan Gombak, Hulu Gombak, Selangor, wish to address an important matter. It has come to our attention that a third party, Sri Vana Durgai Amman Alayam, led by an individual named Selvarajoo, is planning to organize a Maha Kumbh Mela Festival on 29 January 2025 at our temple without our consent or approval.
We would like to clarify that Maha Kumbh Mela is a sacred Hindu festival traditionally observed only in specific locations in India—Prayagraj, Haridwar, Nashik, and Ujjain—where its spiritual significance is tied to the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, and Shipra. These rivers hold immense religious and historical importance, and their sanctity cannot be replicated elsewhere. Conducting such a festival in Malaysia is inappropriate and misleading, as it misrepresents the true essence of Hindu traditions.
We strongly oppose this unauthorized activity, as it violates the sanctity of our temple and promotes practices that deviate from authentic Hindu teachings. To address this matter, we have lodged an official police report on 27 January 2025 at IPD Petaling Jaya and have also informed Malaysia Hindu Sangam for their guidance and support.
We urge all devotees and the public not to support or participate in this unauthorized event. As the rightful management of this temple, we remain committed to preserving the temple’s sanctity and ensuring that only genuine religious practices are conducted. பெர்சத்துவான் பெங்கானுட் தேவ ஆத்ம அருள் ஜோதி முனீஸ்வரர் ஆலயம் (காராக் சிவன் கோவில்), பத்து 19, ஜாலான் கோம்பாக், ஹுலு கோம்பாக், 68000 கோம்பாக், சிலாங்கூர் என்ற இடத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள நம் கோவிலின் நிர்வாக குழுவின் சார்பில், கோவில் வளாகத்தில் ஏற்படும் ஒரு முக்கிய விவகாரம் குறித்து மக்களுக்கு விளக்கம் அளிக்க விரும்புகிறோம்.
நாங்கள் ஒரு தகவலைப் பெற்றுள்ளோம், அதன்படி ஸ்ரீ வன துர்கை அம்மன் ஆலயம், அதன் தலைவர் திரு. செல்வராஜூ தலைமையில், எங்கள் அனுமதியோ அல்லது ஒப்புதலோ இல்லாமல், மகா கும்பமேளா விழாவை 29 ஜனவரி 2025 அன்று நம் கோவில் வளாகத்தில் நடத்த திட்டமிட்டுள்ளனர்.
மகா கும்பமேளா என்பது இந்து சமயத்தின் முக்கியமான புனித விழாக்களில் ஒன்று. இது இந்தியாவில் குறிப்பிட்ட நான்கு புனித தலங்களில் மட்டுமே, பிரயாக்ராஜ், ஹரித்வார், நாசிக் மற்றும் உஜ்ஜைன், நடத்தப்படும் ஒரு புனித நிகழ்வாகும். இந்த விழா புனித நதிகளான கங்கை, யமுனை, கோதாவரி மற்றும் சரஸ்வதி நதிகளின் புனிதத்துடன் தொடர்புடையது. இந்த விழாவிற்கு அவற்றின் புனிதத்தை மாற்றிச் செய்ய முடியாது. மலேசியாவில் இதுபோன்ற விழாவை நடத்துவது அதற்கான சரியான சூழ்நிலை இல்லாமல், மக்களை குழப்பக்கூடியதாகும் மற்றும் இந்து மரபுகளை மீறும் செயலாகும்.
நாங்கள் இந்த நிகழ்வை சமய நெறியுடன் எதிர்க்கிறோம், ஏனெனில் இது நம் கோவிலின் புனிதத்தை பாதிக்கிறது மற்றும் இந்து சமயத்தின் உண்மையான மதத்திற்கு எதிரான தவறான போதனைகளைக் (அஜரன் செஸாத்) கொண்டு வருகிறது. இதற்கிடையில், 27 ஜனவரி 2025 அன்று IPD பெட்டாலிங் ஜெயா-வில் புகார் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதுடன், இந்த விவகாரம் தொடர்பாக மலேசிய இந்து சங்கத்திற்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
நம் கோவிலின் ஆத்ம சுத்தத்தையும், மரபுகளையும் காக்கும் வகையில், இந்த தவறான நிகழ்வில் கலந்து கொள்ள அல்லது ஆதரிக்க பொதுமக்கள் மற்றும் பக்தர்கள் தவிர்க்கும்படி கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறோம். நாங்கள் நம் கோவிலில் சுத்தமான,உண்மையான,பாதுகாப்பான மற்றும்
மன நிறைவான வழிபாடுகளை மட்டும் அனுமதிப்பதில் உறுதியாக உள்ளோம்.
