Setiap bayi di Malaysia akan menerima suntikan vaksin mengikut jadual yang ditetapkan oleh KKM bermula seawal kelahiran sehingga umur 18 bulan.

Sehingga kini, terdapat 10 jenis vaksin digunakan untuk mencegah 13 penyakit cegahan vaksin untuk bayi dan kanak-kanak.
