Singgah Kedai Mamak Selepas Terawih? Fahami Apa Berlaku Pada Tubuh Apabila Anda Mengambil 'Moreh' Berat Pada Waktu Malam.

1. METABOLISME SEDANG BEREHAT

PANDUAN MOREH MESRA PERUT:

πŸ«€βœ¨ How body fat distribution shapes cardiovascular ageing β€” differently for men and women!
A fascinating analysis of over 21,000 UK Biobank participants shows that where we store fat matters far more than how much we store when it comes to cardiovascular ageing.
Using machine learning applied to advanced MRI phenotyping, the study reveals:

πŸ”₯ Key insights
β€’ Visceral fat is the strongest driver of accelerated cardiovascular ageing in both sexes.
β€’ Liver fat and muscle fat infiltration also worsen biological cardiovascular age.
β€’ In men, android and abdominal subcutaneous fat further increase age-delta.
β€’ In pre-menopausal women, gynoid fat (hips & thighs) is protective β€” a remarkable sex-specific effect.
β€’ BMI falls short as a risk marker: many individuals are misclassified compared to MRI-based fat mapping.
β€’ Lipid and inflammatory biomarkers (ApoB, LDL, glycoprotein acetyls) track closely with age acceleration, while HDL and DHA appear protective.
β€’ Physical activity improves biological age β€” yet visceral fat remains a consistent adverse factor.

πŸ’‘ Why it matters
These findings highlight fat distribution, not weight alone, as a crucial modifiable determinant of cardiovascular health and ageing. They also underscore the importance of sex-specific mechanisms, including the protective role of oestradiol and gluteofemoral fat in women.
A promising direction for future therapies targeting:
✨ visceral adiposity
✨ metabolic inflammation
✨ adipose tissue function

πŸ«€πŸ“Š New long-term study: Physical activity may matter MORE than diet alone for reducing cardiovascular & all-cause mortality.
Even active people with less-than-ideal diets had lower death risk than inactive individuals.

Insurers' directives to raise the quota of outpatients over inpatients for certain illnesses, including dengue, may subtly undermine medical judgement. Dengue can worsen rapidly. When insurers apply pressure to reduce admissions, the safety margin narrows.
