We are thrilled to share the successful deployment of our 38th Ophthalmic Care Unit (OCU) mission! This time, our team visited the Pertubuhan Kebajikan Warga Emas Kenang Budi Kuala Lumpur to ensure the residents there continue to see the world with clarity and comfort.

During the visit, our dedicated team conducted comprehensive eye screenings for 21 residents. Following the assessments:
- 8 residents were identified as needing vision correction.
- They will be receiving complimentary prescription glasses to improve their daily quality of life.

This mission wouldn't have been possible without the synergy of our professional partners and supporters:
- Our Professional Partners: A huge shoutout to the skilled opticians and volunteers who donated their time and expertise to provide high-quality care.
- Fueling the Team: We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our Rakan St. John, Mr. Benny and friends, for generously sponsoring the meals for our team and volunteers. Your kindness kept our spirits high!

At St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor, we believe that vision care is a fundamental right, especially for our senior community. We remain committed to "Serving Humanity" through every lens and every screening.

St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor is currently conducting the Advanced First Aid Course at our State Training Centre in Fairy Park.

Across two weekends on 7, 8, 14, and 15 March, a total of 30 dedicated participants have gathered to undergo intensive training in advanced casualty management, patient assessment, and emergency response skills.

Today marks Day 2 of the programme, where the focus has shifted to rigorous practical sessions and hands-on learning. These exercises are designed to strengthen our participants’ competence and confidence in delivering high-level first aid care.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all invited medical and paramedic speakers for sharing their professional expertise and helping us maintain the highest standards of training.

Wishing all participants the very best as they continue their learning journey in the upcoming training days. Keep up the great work!

At St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor, we believe that everyone deserves the ability to see the world clearly.

This Sunday, our team had the privilege of visiting En Yuan Old Folk Home and Persatuan Kebajikan Sri Saradha Devi again, to deliver free prescription glasses to the residents.

For many of the elderly and the children we met, these glasses are more than just an accessory—they are a tool for independence. It means being able to read a favorite book again, recognize the faces of loved ones, and navigate their daily lives with confidence.

Seeing the smiles light up their faces when they put on their new frames was the highlight of our service. Thank you to our dedicated officers, members, donors and supporters who made this delivery possible!

Special thanks to our State Commander Mr. Lim Wun Lok and KSU Area Commander Datuk Tan Kang Sang for generously sponsoring gifts for the beneficiaries as well.

We sincerely appreciate the cooperation from the school administration and the dedication of all volunteers who made this meaningful outreach possible.

We have received a significant boost to our emergency response capabilities! 🚑💨

During their 25th Anniversary Chinese New Year Luncheon, the Lions Club of Damansara Kuala Lumpur (LCOD) generously donated seven (7) Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). These life-saving devices will be stationed at our Selangor State Headquarters and across our six (6) Area Headquarters, ensuring we are better equipped to respond to cardiac emergencies in the community.

The donation was graciously received by our Commander-in-Chief, YBhg. Dato' Lai See Ming, alongside our Selangor State Commander, Mr. Lim Wun Lok, and representatives from the respective areas.

In his speech, Dato' Lai expressed his deepest gratitude to the LCOD, noting that this meaningful contribution will provide immense support to our mission of serving humanity and saving lives.

This donation was made possible through the incredible generosity of the following sponsors. We thank you for your commitment to public safety:
🔹 Eurosteel & Tools Sdn. Bhd.
🔹 Artsource (M) Sdn. Bhd.
🔹 Plytec Holding Berhad
🔹 ETA Group Berhad
🔹 Dato' Amos Siew & Friends
🔹 Red Kettle Sdn. Bhd.
