The sun may have set on our campsite, but the spirit of service and camaraderie burns brighter than ever. After 3 days of intensive training, teamwork, and leadership building, the 36th St. John Ambulans Malaysia - Negeri Selangor State Cadet Camp has officially come to a successful close!

​We were deeply honored to have Yang Berhormat Puan Wong Siew Ki, State Assemblywoman for Seri Kembangan, join us as our Guest of Honour for the closing ceremony. Her presence and inspiring words served as a powerful reminder to our cadets about the importance of youth leadership and community service in building a resilient nation.

After commending the organising committee and the hosting area (Kawasan Selangor Selatan) for their hard work, State Commander, Tuan Lim Wun Lok shared some exciting news: the 37th State Cadet Camp 2026 will be proudly hosted by SJAM – Kawasan Selangor Barat.

The energy at the 36th State Cadet Camp is reaching its peak! Our second day has been a whirlwind of physical challenges, digital literacy, and star-studded inspiration. Here is a recap of what our cadets have been up to:

​🏃‍♂️ ​Earlier today, our cadets hit the field for a series of station games. These weren’t just for fun—each challenge was designed to test their leadership, resilience, and teamwork. From problem-solving to physical coordination, every station offered a new lesson in what it means to be a St. John Ambulans Malaysia cadet.

​🛡️ ​In today's digital age, being a lifesaver extends to the online world. We were honored to have En. Hazlami Othman from MCMC join us for a vital sharing session on cyberbullying. Our cadets learned how to identify digital threats, protect themselves, and foster a kinder online community.

​🌟 ​The highlight of the afternoon was an electrifying session with national DJ, artist, and KSS Vice President, Jack Lim! His engaging and inspiring talk reminded us all that with passion and discipline, there are no limits to what we can achieve. Thank you, Jack, for lighting a fire in the hearts of our young leaders!

​🔥 ​The sun is setting, but the excitement is just beginning! The participants are currently in high spirits, putting the final touches on their preparations for the Campfire Performances tonight. Expect a night of creativity, laughter, and brotherhood under the stars.

Adventure, discipline, and excellence have converged at the Semenyih Ecoventure Resort & Recreation as we officially kick off the 36th State Cadet Camp, St. John Ambulans Malaysia (SJAM) - Negeri Selangor!

​We were deeply honored to have our Commander-in-Chief, YBhg. Dato' Lai See Ming, join us today to officiate the opening ceremony. His presence and inspiring words have set a powerful tone for the days of learning and camaraderie ahead for our young cadets.

​🎖️ ​Today was doubly special as we witnessed a pinnacle achievement in the St. John journey. The Commander-in-Chief personally presented the Grand Prior Award—the highest honor a cadet can achieve—to 8 of our outstanding officers and members.

​This prestigious award represents years of dedication, mastery of diverse skills, and an unwavering commitment to our motto: “Pro Utilitate Hominum” (In the Service of Humanity).

​A massive congratulations to our 8 Grand Prior Recipients! Your hard work is a beacon for every cadet present at this camp.
