Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a common bacterial infection in the stomach.
It can cause chronic gastritis, peptic ulcers, and has been classified by the World Health Organization as a Group 1 carcinogen for gastric cancer.

The bacteria can spread through shared utensils, contaminated food or water, or close contact.
Some people may not show symptoms, but long-term infection can seriously harm stomach health.

👉 Common symptoms include:
• Recurrent stomach pain or discomfort
• Bloating
• Nausea, acid reflux
