A Remarkable Milestone for KPJ Kluang!

KPJ Kluang Specialist Hospital proudly celebrates another achievement โ€” the successful VT Ablation procedure performed on a patient.

This accomplishment was made possible through the expertise and precision of Dr. Ng Kim Fong, our Consultant Cardiologist with a subspecialty in Electrophysiology.

What is VT Ablation?
VT (Ventricular Tachycardia) Ablation is a specialized heart procedure that helps treat abnormal fast heart rhythms. Using advanced technology, the doctor identifies and treats the small area of heart tissue causing the irregular rhythm โ€” helping the heart beat normally again.

Why is this important?
Sustained Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) can lead to cardiac arrest โ€” a life-threatening condition where the heart suddenly stops pumping blood properly. When the heart beats too fast and unevenly, the lower chambers (ventricles) donโ€™t fill with enough blood, causing a drop in blood pressure and reducing oxygen supply throughout the body.

This milestone marks another proud moment in our hospitalโ€™s journey to advance cardiac care for the community โ€” ensuring safer, healthier hearts for our patients.

We are delighted to announce that KPJ Healthcare Berhad is now ready to expand its presence in the State of Johor with the opening of a new hospital that is KPJ KLUANG SPECIALIST HOSPITAL located at TAMAN SAUJANA, KLUANG. The presence of our new entity will serve as the relocation site for Kluang Utama Specialist Hospital (KUSH) which has served the community for the past 10 years since its inception.

KPJ Healthcare Berhad, as the largest chain of Healthcare Provider in Malaysia, is always looking for opportunities to expand its services and facilities to the community to meet their expectations and demand. We are pleased to inform that our new hospital will be operational by 1st QUARTER 2020.

The hospital services of Kluang Utama Specialist Hospital (KUSH) will be relocated to the new hospital premise under a new name which is KPJ KLUANG SPECIALIST HOSPITAL with more specialists, better facilities, better environment and better equipment.
