Gokulacandra (www.gokulacandra.com) from Finland is dedicated to sharing with you a variety of truly authentic styles of yoga classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings. The Gokul Yoga System is a holistic and traditional approach to the practice of Yoga. Its holistic quality comes from the inclusiveness of working through Physical, Energetic/Emotional, Mental/Intellectual, Existential, and Spiritual platforms simultaneously which is fundamental to the Patanjala Yoga process. Gokul Yoga System has been compiled and organized by Mahayogi Gokulacandra dās as an effort to protect and perpetuate a pure lineage of Yoga practice through a legitimate succession of disciples (Gaudiya Vaisnava Sampradaya) going back thousands of years to its origins. The parallel syncretism of Patanjala Yoga as part of Bhakti Yoga has been particularly entrusted to M.Y. Gokulacandra, allowing him to share this ancient tradition in a legitimate way. Conveniently located in the suburb of Luyang, our classes are taught in a tranquil and eco-friendly environment for every level of practitioner. We encourage a non-competitive attitude among our students, with a higher priority placed on internal development than outward achievement. Gokul Yoga invites you to come in and share the practice of yoga together, regardless of age, size, gender, fitness, diet and lifestyle. General Information:

- Yoga mats are provided as are props such as blocks and straps which we may use to assist students in postures.

- For your first visit we suggest that you arrive at least ten minutes before the start time.

- We recommend wearing comfortable clothing. Try not to attend practice with a full stomach (it takes 1 hour to digest a snack and 3 hours for a full meal).

- Mobile phones are to be switched to silent mode during the class.

- Be kind and loving to yourself, accepting where you are. Realize its ok to come out of the pose early, allowing yourself to be intuitive to your body.

Yoga is an eternal spiritual science and a living relationship between the spiritual master and disciple. It cannot be learned from books, fragmented pieces, or outside a disciplic succession—there is no such thing as a self-taught yogi.

Gokul Yoga is a living tradition, practiced daily.

Come and practice with us!

In a time when everything is fast, packaged, and simplified for consumption—when we are told we can transform our bodies in 21 days, calm the mind with quick fixes, or become “yoga teachers” after collecting certificates—it becomes easy to forget what yoga truly is.

To practice yoga within a true paramparā (unbroken lineage) is an opportunity that has become very rare.

Yoga was never meant to be assembled from pieces or mixed with other things, and it certainly has no shortcomings.

It is a living transmission.

A discipline refined and preserved through generations with care, responsibility, and depth.

Gokul Yoga stands in a world where yoga is still transmitted as it has been for centuries—through an authentic, unbroken lineage.

Not reinvented. Not diluted. Not adapted to trends. But preserved.

Much of the original depth of yoga has already disappeared, and what remains will continue to fade unless it is protected by those willing to approach it with humility, commitment, and sincerity.

This is not for everyone.

But for those who feel that something essential is missing—for those who seek something real, for those ready to practice, for those willing to understand it—the door is open.

Adi Krama classes are available through our teachers around the world.

There are many strong opinions about Yoga today, and often those discussions unintentionally highlight an important point: the difference between traditional Yoga and modern interpretations.

In the traditional view, Yoga is an eternal spiritual science passed through paramparā—an unbroken lineage from teacher to student.

Because of this, Yoga itself does not “evolve” or change according to cultural trends. What can change, however, is people’s access to authentic teachings and their ability to practice it properly.

In our current age, it is easy for Yoga to become shaped by personal opinions, modern preferences, or self-appointed authorities rather than by genuine lineage and tradition. When this happens, the deeper purpose of Yoga gradually becomes obscured, and unapproachable.

Our mission through Gokul Yoga is to educate, to protect, preserve and share the traditional teachings as they have been passed down through authentic paramparā, so that sincere practitioners still have the opportunity to encounter and practice Yoga in its original form. As it Is.

Join the ADI KRAMA classes and start practicing within paramparā.

Around the world, millions of people dedicate years of their lives to the path of yoga, convinced they are following a genuine spiritual discipline, while others assume that its purpose is only to feel good.

Yet very few are told that, traditionally, yoga exists only within a living lineage of transmission—something that has become exceptionally rare today, because most of these lineages have been completely broken over time.

How could something so profound and sacred be reduced to merely physical and mental purposes? Of course, yoga brings great physical and mental benefits, but it goes far beyond that.

In its original form, yoga is an extremely sophisticated divine spiritual science. Its goal is self-realization, the realization of spiritual reality—the Supreme Source of everything—and the awakening of the eternal connection between the individual soul and its Source.

Authentic yoga is not simply a method for well-being. It is a demanding path that requires perseverance and sincere dedication.

Traditionally, it is understood as a lifelong commitment, and in many cases a process that may unfold over several lifetimes before its ultimate realization is reached.

For thousands of years, yoga has been passed from teacher to student within a living lineage. This direct transmission preserves the depth, integrity, and true purpose of the practice.

People who practice yoga have the right to know that yoga is a complete spiritual science preserved through paramparā, the living lineage of transmission—and that this living tradition still exists.

Gokul Yoga continues this path through sincere daily practice under the guidance of Mahayogi Gokulacandra.

Yoga is received through paramparā — teacher to student.
When this chain is maintained, the knowledge remains alive.
When it is forgotten, the original understanding becomes lost.
For this reason, authentic yoga has always been practiced under guidance within a living tradition.

Gokul Yoga continues this lineage through daily discipline and sincere practice.
