𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐤𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐝𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐩 adalah keadaan mata yang serius di mana sudut saliran mata tersumbat secara tiba-tiba atau beransur-ansur, menyebabkan peningkatan tekanan di dalam mata (intraokular) secara cepat, yang boleh membawa kepada kehilangan penglihatan kekal jika tidak dirawat segera.

𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞-𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐚 is a sight-threatening emergency where the iris blocks the eye's drainage angle, causing a rapid, severe rise in intraocular pressure (IOP). Acute symptoms include severe eye pain, red eye, headache, nausea, vomiting, and blurry vision with halos around lights. Treatment involves immediate pressure reduction with medication, followed by urgent laser peripheral iridotomy.

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.
This patient just having mild eye redness and headache for few months. Further examined showed increased eye pressure and scan showed optic nerve compression by tissue and her thyroid hormone was so high. She was admitted and treatment started all within few hours.
A Teamwork by consultant Ophthalmologist, Radiologist and Physician.

Drugs that increase bleeding risk, such as anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin, rivaroxaban, apixaban, dabigatran) and antiplatelet drugs (e.g., aspirin, clopidogrel, NSAIDs), can cause hyphema, especially spontaneously or after trauma. Alcohol also increases this risk. Other medical conditions, including bleeding disorders, diabetes, and ocular tumors, can also be associated with hyphema.
