In order for heart attack to occur, there first need to have 3 events to occur.
1. Endothelial dysfunction (injury of artery wall). (Due to preexisting hypertension, oxidative stress, high blood sugar, elevated uric acid level)
2. Intrusion and accumulation of LDL particles in the injury site. Attracting more white blood cell (macrophage) to enter. Forming a fatty plaque or blockage. (Artherosclerosis)
3. Rupturing of fatty plaque, forming a blood clot. Thereby blocking the blood flow. Occurrence of heart attack. (Myocardial infarction)
If PP Health Malaysia claims that the rate of sudden death is due to sudden surge of sport activity after pandemic, then they are inferring that most Malaysia are already walking around with blocked (artherosclerosis) artery to begin with.
There are some studies that report that viral infection like Covid and Influenza causes artery wall damage leading to heart events. PMCID: PMC8373818PMID: 34863398
Whereby myocarditis due to COVID-19 vaccine is still an unproven "conspiracy". There's a lack of "evidence"
BUT, lack of evidence does not mean absence of evidence. Does it? 🤔🤔

Whatever it is, there are some factors that are out of our control (environment pollution, pandemic, vaccines), and then there are some factors that are within our control (lifestyle, nutrition, physical activity). Lets focus on the factors we can control and reduce risks as much as we can!!

KUALA LUMPUR: An increasing number of the adult population aged 40 and below are experiencing Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS), mainly caused by cardiac arrest and stroke.

What are the signs and symptoms of being Insulin Resistant?
This might sound abit technical, but the best way is to get your blood test done and see if you have 3 or more symptoms listed in the video.
To put it simply, Insulin Resistant is caused by
1. High consumption of simple and processed carbohydrates. I.e biscuits, cakes, and even refined rice and noodles etc
2. Overconsumption of sugar. Fructose accelerates IR by activating a signaling pathway in the liver.
3. Sedentary lifestyle and underdeveloped muscle tissue.
