Today, I attended the 1st APAC Executive & Investor Fertility Meeting in Taipei.

Unlike typical medical conferences, this forum brought together selected fertility leaders and industry decision-makers across Asia-Pacific.

The focus was not just clinical excellence, but also:
• Improving accessibility to fertility care
• Enhancing affordability for patients
• Strengthening the IVF ecosystem across the region

Kesihatan wanita bukan perkara kecil 🤍

Semalam saya berpeluang dijemput oleh Sawit Kinabalu untuk berkongsi tentang tiga topik penting dalam kesihatan wanita:
kitaran haid, kesuburan (infertiliti), dan kanser serviks.

Ramai wanita sebenarnya masih keliru tentang apa yang normal dan bila perlu dapatkan rawatan. Dari sesi semalam, jelas bahawa kesedaran sudah ada, tetapi masih ramai yang ragu-ragu atau menangguhkan pemeriksaan.

Kitaran haid bukan sekadar rutin bulanan, ia boleh menjadi petanda awal masalah kesihatan.
Infertiliti p**a adalah keadaan perubatan yang boleh dirawat, bukan sesuatu yang perlu dipendam atau dipersalahkan.
Kanser serviks p**a sebenarnya boleh dicegah jika saringan dibuat awal.

Sebagai doktor, saya percaya tugas saya bukan hanya merawat, tetapi juga memberi kefahaman supaya pesakit boleh membuat keputusan yang lebih baik tentang kesihatan mereka.
