🥒 Pickleball Day Out with Team Synergist! 🏓

We finally hit the courts to see what all the pickleball buzz is about—and discovered the game probably deserves a new name: “Pickup‑ball,” because we spent half our time scooping runaway balls off the ground! 😅

But jokes aside, this fast‑growing sport is tons of fun and (bonus) easier on the joints than tennis… or so we thought. Even with its lighter pace, we still see plenty of pickleball‑related aches at the clinic—think shoulder strains, calf pulls, and the occasional twisted knee from a sudden lunge.

Don’t let preventable injuries sideline your fun. Before your next match, try this quick five‑minute dynamic warm‑up:

Jog & Shuffle (60 sec) – Light jog around the court, then side‑shuffles to wake up hips and ankles.

Arm Swings & Shoulder Circles (30 sec each) – Big forward/back swings and circles to prep those paddle muscles.

Walking Lunges with Twist (60 sec) – Step, lunge, and gently rotate toward your front leg to prime quads, glutes, and core.

Heel Raises to Toe Touches (45 sec) – Rise onto toes, then hinge at the hips to tap the floor—mobilises calves and hamstrings.

Mini Skips or High Knees (45 sec) – Elevates heart rate and readies your body for quick court bursts.

Finish with a few gentle practice swings and short‑court d***s before the real rallies begin. Your body will thank you—so you can focus on serving rather than surfing the sidelines for ice packs. 😉
