18 March 2026: Updates on Jesselton Point, the main ferry terminal to visit the islands off Kota Kinabalu City.

1. Starting 15 April 2026, return shuttle rides to the jetty will be available for just RM1 per person.
2. The new jetty will be open for recreational fishing.
3. Demolition is currently underway at the old Jesselton Point terminal to make way for future development.
Note: The new entrance to the New Jesselton Point is located behind Jesselton Quay (JQ).
