UKMMC Ophthalmology Department are proud to announce that the 1st National Cataract Surgery Symposium (NCSS2019) will be held from 26-28 April 2019 in Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, UKM Medical Centre, Cheras.

This is the first cataract surgery symposium ever held on the national level. NCSS2019 sees attendance from ophthalmologists, medical officers and ophthalmology trainees from health institutions in Malaysia as well as speakers from recognized institutions

The 1st National Cataract Surgery Symposium 2019 consists of 2-day symposium and 1-day Wet Lab Workshop. Key highlights of the symposium includes:
- Keynote Speech by Dr Takayuki Akahoshi
- Live Cataract Surgery
- Wetlab Sessions

For specialists, medical officers and ophthalmology trainees who require wet lab surgery exposure and CPD points, do grab these opportunities!
