It is uncommon to have two great masters - Pierre and Eric to be in town, learning from them and best of all, having dinner together.
Hectic yet fruitful weeks. Upgrading the skill and knowledge just so to be able to provide effective and efficient treatments for our clients in the recovery journey. It was great to meet some old friends and making some new friends from China and Singapore.
Thank you .cheng.507 for the candy 😊 謝謝你的大白兔
I was doing my own reflection after the classes, the AHA moments are :
1) Follow the Marcus Aurelius's first principle - Simplicity. By understanding the human anatomy and biomechanics (or physics), a simple technique can have an enormous effect on the body. Sometimes we do not need fancy movements but just understanding the body and work accordingly.
2) As simple as it may sound, you will find it fascinating with how our brains work and function, which may affect our Autonomic Nervous System (ANS), or commonly known Fight or Flight System to the public. To me, ANS dictates how we function as a person in daily life. If we are able to regulate, then we are good. If we are not, then that's when problems arise.
3) Default Mode Network (DMN), Salience Network (SN) and Central Executive Network - something that I have been exploring past few weeks before the class, from an entrepreneur's perspective and today is looking from a therapist's perspective. Indeed, there are so many things to explore about the brain.
