The Dead Sea is a salt water lake landlocked between the regions of Jordan and Israel, The Dead Sea might as well be called a true wonder of nature because it holds the second most salt content in any water body.
The salinity (33%) makes humans and animals able to float on the surface. It is that very salt content that also makes it impossible for any living organisms (except bacteria) to survive with, hence the name ‘Dead Sea’.
