Jakarta diaries ✨ After 3 years… so much has changed! (Except good ol’ Thamrin 🤣)

Sure, people come here to shop and yes, it is a shopping haven! But me? I was busy falling in love with the local brands, cute little shops, how much their local businesses are blooming and all the city vibes. My camera roll is thriving

Definitely coming back… maybe without Amina hehe 🫣 so I can finally do my cafe-hopping, live band nights, and hawker street food marathon ✨🫶🏻

Snippets from our 2025 Sourcing Trip ✨

Third year here and truly, we’ve come such a long way. Alhamdulillah, we saw so much growth on this trip. Everything flowed smoothly and in our favour, with Allah’s permission

This trip was so puas hati, even though the behind-the-scenes wasn’t shown. From late-night flights, early morning arrivals, and leaving behind my little one who’s still learning to understand it all… to bumpy airplane rides, braving a typhoon, soaked our shoes on the very first day, and back-to-back supplier meetings, it was all part of the journey. Alhamdulillah, we really enjoyed this trip. Having a good travelling partner helps tremendously too, through the long days, the late nights, and everything in between 🤍 🫶🏻✨

This is the path I chose, and I know I have to give 100% to get 100% back

Last Sunday marked Amina’s third-ever sports day, and what a day it was! She’s grown so much since last year, every little improvement is a big win for us. But one thing’s remained the same: our girl loves performing! Dancing, smiling, being front and centre, she absolutely loves being in the spotlight ✨

As always, Team Amina showed up in full force (figuratively filled the hall, hehe). All three grandparents came, thank you so much Mak, Mama & Abah 💖 And all her mommies, uncles, and cousins were there too, shouting their hearts out 🤣 From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being there. Amina will surely carry this as a core memory

This year’s theme is a-commerce! 😄 The playschoolers were 321Tok, the 4-year-olds became 4zada, Amina’s class was 5alora, and the 6-year-olds were Shop6. Mommy geli hati tengok gelagat all the kids haha, so much creativity and cuteness all around!

Huge kudos to all the amazing teachers for pulling off another fantastic event. You continue to amaze us every year 👏🏻

Alhamdulillah was also there, fuelling everyone in the morning with coffee, lemonade, nasi lemak, sandwiches & donuts

So, so proud of our little girl 💕 Can’t wait for many more special memories like this!!

Remembered how much I loved hosting so glad we got to do it this year

Wrapped up the last round of Raya celebrations and was so happy to have our dearest ones over on Saturday, even though some couldn’t make it. My heart is full.
