Dr. Kamal Muniandy, MD (CSMU), MRCPCH (UK)
Consultant Paediatrician
Dr. Kamal Muniandy has been practicing paediatrics for more than a decade. He began his career after completing his housemanship at Hospital Kajang in 2013. He subsequently served as a Medical Officer at Miri General Hospital, Sarawak, and Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), Klang, Selangor. He later advanced to the role of Paediatric Specialist at Hospital Seberang Jaya, Penang.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Kamal contributed to medical education as a part-time lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and University College Dublin (UCD) Malaysia Campus, while continuing his service at Hospital Seberang Jaya.
Dr. Kamal earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Crimea State Medical University. He went on to specialise in paediatrics with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), United Kingdom, successfully attaining the MRCPCH qualification. He was subsequently appointed as a Paediatrician by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

He is certified in Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS), and serves as an instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Programme (NRP), Malaysian Paediatric Life Support (MPLS), and Paediatric Palliative Care (PPC).
Dr. Kamal is deeply committed to providing children with the highest standard of care. He believes in empowering parents through accurate and timely information, enabling them to make informed decisions for their children’s health and well-being.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Kamal enjoys hiking, exercising, and promoting environmental sustainability through recycling and nature conservation. He is fluent in English, Bahasa Melayu, Tamil, and Telugu, and also speaks basic Russian.
