✨ The Flagship Medical Tourism Hospital (FMTH) team is back at Island Hospital Penang for its final assessment. Day 1 already shows how patient voices are shaping cancer care.

At Island Hospital, every voice matters. By listening closely and acting on feedback, the hospital continues to improve its oncology services. Through cancer care surveys, patients shared what could make their healing journey more comfortable.

Island Hospital responded with:
▶ Calming music in the LINAC room to ease treatment
▶ A step stool with handle for safer, easier access
▶ A refreshed chemo day ward, whereby each patient may now bring one companion, plus a suggestion box for continuous feedback

On top of these thoughtful touches, Island Hospital also shares easy-to-read brochures for patients and families, covering topics such as Dyspepsia, Endoscopy, Sedation and even fall prevention tips.

These simple but powerful changes highlight Island Hospital’s commitment to patient comfort, dignity and compassion, ensuring care goes beyond medicine. 💙
