After more than a decade in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, the demanding workload, relentless pressure, and even a minor car accident became a wake-up call for Hensem Ng. They forced him to pause, reflect, and ask himself a life-changing question: What truly matters?

Although his engineering career was stable, something didn’t feel right. His health was declining, and deep down, he knew he wasn’t on the right path. In search of meaning, he ventured into a small business producing and supplying handmade herbal soaps. The business lasted only a year, but it was a turning point, it planted the seed of transformation and revealed a new direction filled with purpose and healing.

Motivated to create a deeper impact, Hensem immersed himself in studying manual osteopathy and complementary health products. By 2021, he founded Hensem Osteo Manipulative, a practice dedicated to manual therapy. That same year, he co-founded Da Cheng TCM Medicare, officially stepping into traditional Chinese medicine. His commitment to integrative healthcare only grew stronger, and in 2025 he co-founded Dade TCM Medicare, expanding his mission of patient-centered care.

With no clients and little visibility, Hensem relied on Facebook ads and free educational talks in schools to introduce his work. Slowly, his sincerity and dedication began to speak for themselves.

One of his most unforgettable moments was helping a patient who had seen three ophthalmologists but still suffered from persistent visual shadows. After a careful assessment, Hensem discovered the issue was related to cranial alignment. Following just two sessions of manual therapy, the shadows faded. Experiences like this remind him why he chose this path: the chance to bring hope and healing where it had almost disappeared.

He wasn’t afraid to switch careers and start again from zero. He truly believes that success comes from finding the right path, and using it to create a positive impact that helps others.
