This 70-year-old gentleman came to us in crisis and rushed in with a perforated tumour and diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer post-surgery.

Due to poor heart function, he couldn’t undergo chemotherapy.

A year later, his cancer progressed but instead of giving up, we turned to NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing).

Results showed MSI-High, making him a strong candidate for immunotherapy.

6 months into treatment, from April to October 2024, his scans show remarkable improvement now with no active disease. He’s still on immunotherapy today and doing incredibly well.

For anyone diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, please ask about NGS testing.

The right genomic info can open doors to life-saving treatments like immunotherapy.
