Look at this gorgeous Peanut Butter Cheesecake Bars!

Niki made it and here's what she said;

"Here is my super yummy peanut butter cheesecake bar. OMG it is sooooo delicious....
I made it this afternoon & we all enioved it after dinner & my husband's friend was over too & he took the whole thing home & left us with one piece. So I made another one the next day and I must say that the cheese cake has to go in the freezer, Elsie. I'm telling you it's unbelievably tasty. Take it out for few minutes & then eat .. omg just one word "HEAVEN" & so dangerous cause I can eat the whole thing ... lol"

We were missing Furby and Felix (our rescued dog and cat) for this Chinese New Year celebrations. Furby passed away in June last year and Felix went missing soon after and did not return. So we were left with Fei Mao (another rescued cat) who sadly went through a depression phase.

The good news is that we have new additions, Freddie and Finley (pictured here). They're so adorable and brought a lot of joy and laughter to us. The best part is that Fei Mao is happier now with new siblings.

Its a blessing to be able to enjoy all the good food during this Chinese New Year celebrations and had so much of fun and laughters with family members and friends. There were just too much food either cooked or bought by family members. These were the few dishes that I made, steamed pork ribs with tofu, stir fried mixed veggies, steam garlic shrimps with glass noodles. I forgot to take pictures of the pork belly & stomach pepper soup and lap mei fan (claypot rice with Chinese sausage).

I hope that all those who are celebrating enjoyed this Chinese New Year with family and friends. I am going to rest and enjoy the rest of this week and start working next week. See you soon 😊

Chinese New Year is just two days away so let me take this opportunity to wish all those who are celebrating "HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR", "GONG XI FA CAI" and "XINNIAN KUAILE".

There will be a number of reunion dinners for me personally with my in-laws as well as my siblings. Lots of preparations, cooking and feasting which will definitely lead to weight gain haha... But who cares as reunion dinners and gatherings are meant for catching up with lots of fun and laughters over food.

I will be taking a break the whole of next week for Chinese New Year and will be back after that.
