"We were referred to Dr Rohaizam, an ENT surgeon, on 19 January when my husband was diagnosed with tongue cancer. Prior to meeting him, we had already heard many positive reviews and compliments about his expertise and care, which were clearly reflected throughout my husband’s treatment journey.
After reviewing the reports, he recommended a PET scan and MRI for surgical planning. He is very detail-oriented, approachable, and explained clearly what to expect during and after the surgery. His surgical skills are excellent, which gave us great confidence and reassurance.
The surgery also involved other doctors and specialists, as well as post-surgery care including follow-ups and therapy, making it a truly multidisciplinary effort. We deeply appreciate the teamwork, coordination, and expertise demonstrated by the entire medical team.
While my husband was undergoing radiotherapy, we had follow-up appointments with Dr Rohaizam throughout the treatment period. At every visit, he patiently explained my husband’s progress and addressed all our questions, which made the entire journey much more reassuring.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses involved in my husband’s surgery and hospital stay. They are truly an amazing team. We also had a very good experience at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, where the overall care and service were commendable.
