✨Have you set your New Year goals/resolutions?

Focusing on setting new habits instead of traditional New Year’s goals is an effective way to create sustainable, long-term change.

Habits are smaller, consistent actions that build over time and become part of your daily routine, making them easier to maintain than broad or abstract goals.

Here’s how I shift from goals to habits:

1. Start small

Instead of “I want to lose weight”, focus on habits like walking at least 3000 steps in a day or have more fiber in at least 1-2 meals daily.

2. Focus on Consistency, Not Perfection

Aim to do the habit regularly, even if it’s not perfect. For example, doing 5000 steps a day, even if you planned for 7500.

3. Celebrate Small Wins

Acknowledge even the smallest victories. This reinforces the habit and makes it more enjoyable.

It is packed with nutrients and antibodies, it boosts your baby's immunity, supports gut health, and promotes a healthy weight. Plus, it reduces the risk of illnesses including cancer for both mom and baby. 🌿💪

It is more than nourishment - it’s a bond, a comfort. The benefits for both mom and baby are endless.

Therefore, the World Research Cancer Fund International recommends mothers to breastfeed, if you can. The longer the cumulative duration of breastfeeding, the benefits for both mother and baby are greater.

Are you making one of these mistakes when drinking coffee? Remember to 💌 SHARE 💌 this with all your family & friends who are coffee lovers ☕

Is it good to drink coffee?

Caffeine has gotten a bad rep of being more of a drug than a food. It is often perceived to be more harmful than nutritional. Contrary to this, studies have shown coffee drinkers to have better health outcomes than their non-drinker counterparts.

⚠️Important note: Drinking coffee is only beneficial when done RIGHT.

Coffee can be an abundant source of antioxidants beneficial for our health, many studies have shown that it can help:

🤎 improve cognition

🤎 lower risk of Type 2 Diabetes

🤎 decrease the risk of developing liver cancer, colorectal cancer and endometrial cancer

🤎 protects the liver from toxins like alcohol and acetaminophen (tylenol)

🤎 lowers incidence of thyroid disease, including cancer

🤎 increase gut microbiome diversity
