Diagnosis kanser adalah satu detik yang amat mencabar dan membawa tekanan emosi yang besar. Perasaan takut, risau, dan tertekan adalah tindak balas yang normal, tidak kira anda berada di fasa pra-diagnosis atau sedang menjalani rawatan. Tekanan ini bukan sahaja dirasai oleh pesakit, malah turut membebani ahli keluarga, terutamanya penjaga utama.

Realitinya, kesihatan mental pesakit kanser memerlukan perhatian. Kajian Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) terhadap 1,490 pesakit yang baru didiagnos menunjukkan statistik membimbangkan: 54% mengalami kecelaruan kebimbangan dan 27% mengalami kemurungan.

Siri kali ini akan memberi panduan tentang cara-cara untuk mengurus dan mengatasi tekanan yang datang seiring dengan diagnosis kanser payudara.
