The djembe is a traditional hand drum from West Africa, known for its deep and resonant sound.
Though simple in structure, different hand techniques create a rich and captivating rhythm vocabulary.
As you drum, beat by beat, your body begins to sway gently with the rhythm.

This further define SOUND HEALING ❣️

In alignment with the “Transforming Grief” 4-hour workshop of Professor Lo, the sound journey is divided into three parts.

Each instrument appears with intention,
guiding participants into a parasympathetic state,
gently floating within the waves of Alpha brain activity.

When grief arises, it is not pushed away.

Through breathwork led by Professor Lo, we learn to coexist with emotion, and in doing so, participants create new neural pathways in the brain amidst grief.
