WHAT IS CLINICAL CODING OR MEDICAL CODING?
• Medical Coding is the translation of clinical data into alphanumeric or numeric codes .
• Every sign, symptom or disease in the world has a diagnosis code including the new Corona virus and every service or treatment done by the physician has a procedure code.
• For example, HIV positive is coded as B20 in ICD 10. Converting into a code hides the disease information and makes it confidential. Except Clinical Coders and those who know coding, B20 remains just a code while being processed.
• Clinical Coding isn’t available as a course in any college or university, it’s a professional certification course by itself. It is better to get educated in any training school for Clinical Coding so that you don’t face any challenges while you work.
Join us on our course on Clinical Coding to be held on 10-11 July 2023 and get certified.
